Auf dieser Website befinden sich mehrere Aufnahmen von CBS und anderen Quellen im Zusammenhang mit dem 9.11. Wäre natürlich interessant zu wissen, ob das Recht auf
"Fair Use" von amerikanischem (!!) Material auch auf hierzulande entstehende
Dokumentationen anwendbar ist. Sofern Dein Film ein Spielfilm werden soll, fürchte ich schon mal -- nein, denn *) dortselbst heißt es:
(...) The fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright.
Also für Kritik, Kommentar, Nachrichtenbeitrag, Unterrichtszwecke, Schulung oder Forschung dürften solche Ausschnitte nach amerikanischem Recht verwendet werden - keine Copyright-Verletzung.
Ob das für einen deutschen Produzenten gilt?
